Experience a distinct view of Prague's sites during an Hour-long cruise from the Rašínovo riverbank

August 29 2019

Savour the view of the Dancing House and the National Theatre from a different perspective while your legs can take a load off during an Hour-long cruise along the Vltava. Thanks to the audio commentary, you will learn lots of interesting facts about Prague's most popular tourist sites.

The Hour-long cruise along the Vltava is the best way to get to know the entire history of Prague's city centre in a short amount of time. The cruises that take off from the Rašínovo riverbank truly take the most interesting path, where you will see the Dancing House, the Mánes and the National Theatre in close proximity. The boat starts by following along with the Vltava’s current to the lock chamber at the Šítkov Water Tower on Žofín's Island, then it takes a left, sailing around Střelecký Island. From here you will be able to see Charles Bridge and Prague Castle after which the boat returns toward the lock chamber. After, the boat will set off against the current to the fabulous Vyšehrad where the boat usually makes its turn back to the Rašínovo riverbank.

There are drinks and small refreshments available aboard the cruise.

Aside from the Hour-long cruise, you can set out on a trip by boat from the Rašínovo riverbank to the Prague ZOO, a boat trip that sails daily at 9:00 AM, 12:00 PM and 3:30 PM during the holidays or during the weekends for an all day trip to the city of Slapy.
