The Art of Steam Travel on the River Vltava Exhibition

The Prague Steamboat Company in cooperation with the National Technical Museum in Prague prepared the exhibition entitled Art of Steam Travel on the River Vltava, 1865-2015. The opening celebration will be held in the Transport Hall of the National Technical Museum on 16 June.

The exhibition will then be open to the public from 17 June to 28 September 2015. The exhibition commemorates the 150^th anniversary of passenger boat transport on the Vltava.

The exhibition also includes steamboat models, numerous documents, film clips and a picture gallery on the subject of steamboat travel, including works by well-known painters such as Jakub Schikaneder, Bohumil Kubišta and Josef Šíma.
