The Traditional Carnival on the Waterfront Náplavka

On Saturday, 1 March 2014, the company Archetyp o.s. (also the organizer of the farmer's market Náplavka) organized the event Carnival at Náplavka or Vltava Carnival (Rašínovo Embankment, Prague 2). We are pleased to welcome all the children that come in the mask, and will then reward the best one with a material price offered for the competition by the companies Archetype and Prague Steamboat Company.

And what can you expect? Traditional grilling of sausages at Výtoň. From 10:00 the fire of wood logs in "medieval" baskets on spruce and birch. You can join and prepare you own sausage (the "Wurst - kunst") according to your wish or have it cut by the master - Peter Friedl. Whether it will be an octopus, a spiral, or a classic, you can roast the sausage on fire straight away, there will be all the necessary equipment and (Opatovský) bread. And of course, wholegrain and full fat mustard will be there for you too!

There will also be the traditional pork feast from the Doupovské mountains from the butcher Josef Pelant. Fish grill. Vegetarian Food Brew Bar and fair trade coffee, hot beer to warm up and (cold) beer from small and mini breweries.

For children (under 15 years) there will a contest for the best mask! Sign up between 11:00 to 12:00 to win prizes at Výtoň at the blue Náplavka tent. From 11:00 to 12:00 o'clock there will be evaluation of masks and at 12:30 the most beautiful and original mask will be announced. Live music will be provided from 10:00 by The Brownies and at 11:00 and 12:00 (for children) there will be the theater Wheelbarrow.
